About the role
As a Group Manager at Menigo, you and your team play a central role in driving and developing the logistics operations in Strängnäs. You have operational responsibility for your area and ensure that the flow of goods operates optimally, efficiently, and safely – both in the short and long term. The role places you at the heart of the business where the pace can vary, and the days offer both exciting and challenging situations.
A crucial part of your assignment is to lead through your employees and create the best conditions for achieving the business goals together. Operations take place both during the day and evening, and as a group manager, you work the same shifts as your team. This means that you will work daytime one week and evening shifts the next.
Your main responsibilities
- As a group manager, you are responsible for creating a cohesive team where each employee contributes and develops in line with the company's goals.
- You are also responsible for creating a safe and secure working environment where rules and routines are followed, and employees feel involved in the improvement work.
- You ensure that the operations are characterized by a strong customer and employee focus.
- You are expected to be an ambassador and act according to Menigo's leadership model.
- You are responsible for optimizing staffing based on the needs of the operations in the short and long term within your area of responsibility.
- You also drive continuous improvements to develop the operations based on safety, quality, and efficiency, using and managing various methods such as Lean to continuously challenge and improve our work processes.

To be considered for the position, the following is required:
- Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience.
- Previous leadership experience.
- Several years of experience in warehouse and sorting tasks.
Meritorious
- Knowledge of and experience working with LEAN/improvement work.
- Experience with Astro (WMS).
